    Respiray’s wearable air purifier destroys 99% of viruses and bacteria by immediately disinfecting the air we breathe with UV-C(LED 265 nm) technology. It's a personal air purifier that immediately disinfects the air we breathe, lasts up to 8 hours when fully charged, an airflow rate of 25~55 litres per min, as opposed to using an air purifier, which takes roughly an hour to purify a whole room.     Respiray’s wearable air purifier gives extra protection against respiratory viruses. It uses the latest UV technology to disinfect the air we breathe and eliminates viruses immediately.

     

    Our patent-pending UV-C module breaks down and inactivates the DNA and RNA of harmful viruses, and blows 99%* of purified air to the front of your face. The device purifies up to 55 litres of air per minute — up to 4x more than an average resting human breathes.

     

    We use the highest quality UV-C LEDs that operate in a very narrow range of UV-C light at 265nm, which doesn’t produce ozone. The device is fully light-sealed so that no UV light can escape. This ensures that it’s safe for human use and that it doesn’t cause any health problems.

  • INDEPENDENT test results | Innovation backed by science.

    The effectiveness of Respiray’s air purifier has been tested in the independent laboratories of the University of Tartu in Estonia, and the University of Lodz in Poland. In the University of Lodz test, our patent-pending disinfection module achieved 99.68% and 99.88% reduction against E.coli and S.aureus bacteria respectively at 30 l/min throughputs. Plus, in the University of Tartu study, we achieved 99.4% and 99,2% effectiveness at inactivating Alphavirus and Influenza A virus.

    University of Lodz Test Results

    The UV-C disinfection module of our device was tested in the Laboratory of the Department of Environmental Biotechnology at Lodz University of Technology (Poland) to assess the effectiveness of bioaerosol disinfection at conditions of bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) test of the EN14683 standard.

     

    The tests were conducted using Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The test results showed 99.68% and 99.88% efficiency in reducing the amount of S.aureus and E.coli or about 2.50 and 2.95 Log reduction respectively.

    University of Tartu Test Results

    The UV-C module was also tested at the University of Tartu with Alphavirus and Influenza A virus. Both viruses, like the SARS-CoV-2, are membrane single-stranded RNA viruses with a size of 70-120 nanometers used in this testing method.

     

     

    The number of Alphavirus particles capable of infection was reduced 99.4% when 10,000,00 virus particles were passed through the Respiray UV-C module compared with the control device. The Influenza A virus was reduced by 99.2%
